Where am I from?
I was born in Bradenton, FL and lived in the Tampa Bay area through 5th grade. My family and I love going back to visit each summer. Our favorite place is Sarasota! My family moved to Flower Mound, TX (north of Dallas) just 3 days before I started the 6th grade! My parents still live in Dallas, and I love to visit any chance I get.
Where did I go to College?
I attended Texas A&M University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. All of my siblings have graduated from A&M! WHOOP! I began my teaching career in the Dallas area where I taught 5th Grade Reading.
Are you married?
I married my high school sweetheart in March 2014. Shortly after, my husband and I moved down to Houston. I have loved our new adventure and I am blessed to be a part of the Tom Cox family.
Do you have children?
Not yet! I do have a niece, Claire, and a nephew, Michael. I love any chance I get with them and love being the fun Aunt! :)
Claire is already loving reading!!!
What do you do for fun?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, reading, being outdoors, canoeing, biking, crafting, traveling and of course, the beach!
